No more panicking if unfortunate spills occur - simply remove covers if possible, wash at 30 degrees on a gentle cycle, then after washing pull back into shape and allow to dry ambiently (no tumble drying or draping over radiators!) - ideally refit covers whilst still damp. If fabrics are creased during washing/drying then you can smooth out using a warm iron (not hot) applied to the reverse side.
