To keep your investment looking in tip-top shape for years to come here are a few do's and dont's to help !
Upholstery
- Switch cushion positions and plump regularly
- Avoid perching on the edges of seats and arms
- If you have more than one piece in the same room, rotate furniture from time to time to avoid any direct sunlight from falling on the same piece continually
- Avoid dropping any heavy weights on your furniture
Fabrics
- Vaccuum regularly using a soft brush attachment
- Rotate cushions and furniture as described above
- If accidental liquid spills occur immediately blot with kitchen paper/absorbent cloth, but do not rub. If necessary treat the affected area with a mild detergent solution applied with a sponge - again use a dabbing not rubbing action.
- For solid spills remove as much as possible (scrape off with a knife etc) then clean as above.
- For really stubborn stains consult a specialist furniture cleaning company
- Many of our fabrics can be machine washed if necessary - use a 30 degree gentle cycle then after washing pull covers back into shape and allow to dry ambiently
- For fabrics which are not machine washable use a specialist dry cleaner
