HANDCRAFTED FURNITURE - DELIVERY AND TERMS
Delivery
Customers should allow 8 weeks from point of order for delivery as each piece of handcrafted furniture is made entirely from scratch. We will advise as soon as possible if there are any potential delays.
We will contact you once your furniture is ready to arrange delivery. We use a specialist, two-man, white-gloved and uniformed delivery crew. We can give customers a two hour window for delivery on the agreed date. On the day of delivery our driver will call the customer 1 hour prior to delivering.
When the furniture arrives, it will be delivered into the room required, unwrapped and put in position. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that there is sufficient access space available for goods to be delivered without necessitating the removal of doors or windows.
Terms
The customer is responsible for ensuring that orders are placed accurately at point of ordering. We take no responsibility for mistakes made in terms of specifying which model or fabric are required. Full payment is also required at point of ordering.
When your furniture is delivered, you will be asked to fully inspect goods before our delivery crew leave and to sign for goods accordingly. Any defects or physical damage should be reported at point of delivery as we cannot accept claims made subsequently.
Modelli handcrafted furniture is made to the highest possible standards and is designed to give many years of service. Should problems occur customers are asked to contact Modelli Fabrics. We will always endeavour to resolve issues swiftly and professionally on the basis that the furniture has been subjected to what is considered everyday, reasonable wear. Claims which are found to be the result of unreasonable wear will not be entertained.
Modelli Fabrics cannot be held responsible for delays or failure to complete orders for reasons which are beyond our control - flooding, fire etc. However if we cannot complete an order for such reasons all monies paid to Modelli will be refunded in full.
