HANDCRAFTED FURNITURE - ABOUT OUR DESIGNS

Great furniture deserves great design and we are delighted to say that we have just that !

All our handcrafted furniture has come from the drawing board of a truly legendary furniture designer - Stan Cunningham.

Stan will probably be an unfamiliar name to most of you. However there is every chance that you will at one time or other have either owned or sat on one of his designs without knowing it!

He has been a top level furniture designer since the 1970's. Since then he has been the Design Director at G Plan Furniture, Derwent and Peter Guild Furniture to name just a few - some of the most recognisable quality manufacturers in the UK. 

In October 2011 Stan decided that the time had come to start designing and manufacturing his own range of furniture rather than doing it for someone else. We have known and worked with Stan for many years and once we heard that he was looking for an exclusive online partner to distribute his products we jumped at the chance.

Since then we have worked closely with Stan to develop and launch our first collection together.

We are absolutely thrilled to have Stan on board and we firmly believe that the combination of his design expertise and our range of nearly 1000 fabrics is a compelling one ! We sincerely hope you will agree.

UPHOLSTERY FABRIC - QUALITY ASSURED PRODUCTS

All Modelli upholstery fabrics are flame retardant as standard and undergo the most rigorous testing both prior to and after launching to ensure total compliance to British Standards. Every upholstery fabric we sell can be used for any domestic upholstery and soft furnishing purpose. Many are machine washable and suitable for contract use.
