We are delighted to present our first collection of handcrafted furniture produced in Long Eaton, Nottingham - for years the home of the finest upholstery made in the UK.
Every piece is designed and engineered to the most exacting standards using only traditional, time-honoured methods and craftsmanship.
Frames are made using fully seasoned hardwood and are glued, screwed and dowelled to give a rock-solid base. So well made in fact that they come with a 25 year guarantee!
Only the best quality fillings and springs are used. Scatter cushions are duck feather filled in a cotton cambric outer. Our footstools and ottomans also employ heavy duty fully tension sprung hinge mechanisms.
Our handcrafted furniture is sold direct to you, our customer, as is our fabric range. Consequently we are able to sell at prices far below what you would normally expect to pay on the high street - for example our most expensive grand sofa comes in at under £2,000 - typically this would retail for more than £3,000.
Delivery is just £99.00 to any UK mainland address on our sofas and chairs, and just £6.95 for ottomans and footstools. Delivery time is 8 weeks from date of order for sofas/chairs and 15 working days for ottomans and footstools.
We also have a private showroom facility just for Modelli customers wishing to buy sofas/chairs - you can not only see the product in the flesh, but you will also be taken through exactly how our furniture is made by our team of expert designers. All Modelli upholstery fabrics are flame retardant as standard and undergo the most rigorous testing both prior to and after launching to ensure total compliance to British Standards. Every upholstery fabric we sell can be used for any domestic upholstery and soft furnishing purpose. Many are machine washable and suitable for contract use.
