Fabulous fabrics.... and fabulous handmade cushions too!

Modelli are delighted to advise clients that our fabulous range of more than 900 fabrics is now available to buy as handmade cushions produced entirely in the UK.

Most cushions sold on the high street have one thing in common - produced in bulk in the Far East using cheap fabrics and fillings.

Modelli are different however.

We take a top grade waxed cambric outer, then generously fill it with 100% curled duck feathers until it is beautifully plump and soft. The outer and feathers come from UK sources.

Our cushion covers are then cut and sewn by our specialist team of highly skilled craftspeople located in the Long Eaton area of Nottingham - for many years now recognised as the premier location in the UK for producing the very highest quality in upholstery and soft furnishings.

Cushion panels are cut slightly rounded, so that when the interior is in place the sides do not pull in. Every cushion we make is self-piped and in the case of striped fabrics such as Pisa, shown below, the stripe is matched top and bottom. A full length zip is sewn in behind the piping to give easy access if required.

In the case of our jumbo 65cm square cushion we even sew a central partition into the cushion which ensures that the feathers remain evenly distributed when in use and will not gather together at one side.

Prices start from £21.95 including VAT for our 45cm square cushion.

Handmade cushions can be ordered by clicking on the 'Find Fabric' button situated at the bottom of the left hand column,  then selecting the fabric you want, then following the checkout steps you would normally take when ordering samples/bulk fabric.

Modelli are always happy to quote clients for handmade cushions produced to your specifications. 

Despatch is 10 working days from receipt of order. A delivery charge of £6.95 applies to all orders regardless of size. We use UPS for shipping.

Please note :-  Modelli handmade cushions are strictly made to order. We can only accept returns if goods are found to be materially damaged on receipt. We cannot accept returns for any other reason. Clients are strongly urged to request samples in advance of ordering cushions to ensure that the fabric selected is suitable. Cushion sizes refer to the dimensions of cushion covers prior to filling - the finished article will be slightly under the stated size.
